All players will play three doubles games in a round-robin fashion with the other three players of the foursome. The number of points per game can be adjusted by the league manager for the desired length of the average match. At the start of the game, players will decide who starts serving first and choice of side.

Tennis Ladder Description. This is a place to schedule play or find players to play from a group within Southampton. Scoring matches will automatically adjust players in the ladder and allow players to find matches that they can enjoy. This is set up for Adults 30 - 75 who are intermediate players. It is doubles single gender or mixed, and players are tracked independant from their playing partners.

League matches usually take approximately one hour. Format: Doubles ladder. You don't need to have a partner. The format is designed for the maximum amount of flexibility for the players. Players may enter or leave a ladder at any time or miss a week or more because of their schedule.
This format sees all players placed in a ladder, one on top of the other. Players challenge each other. If a player lower down the ladder beats a higher placed player, they change places – the lower, winning player moving up the ladder. TIME. PLAYERS / COURTS.
